“Mepas” is a private company which is in personal ownership of Mr. Mirko Grbesic. The headquarters of the company is in Široki Brijeg. The primary business of company is wholesale and retailing of consumer goods. Company dispose with more than 6000m² ( about 9000 pallets places ) modern arranged and furnished warehouse in which about of 800m² is adapted for keeping freeze foods ). The principal axiom of our company is: “Let s become cognizant necessity of our customers because we must satisfy it!” “Mepas” is company who has a trust of more than 4000 customers. Therefore our company except main warehouse in Široki Brijeg has separated warehouses in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Bihać and Banjaluka.

“Mepas” employes more than 250 workers from whole Bosnia and Herzegowina. The company has motor pool of more than 120 motor vehicles. Their purpose is that all assortment of “Mepas” (more than 3000 articles ) in short time is delivered to our customers. The assortment is so wide because ( among other articles ) “Mepas” is an exclusive distributor for Bosnia and Herzegowina for next brands:

• "Saponia" - chemical and pharmaceutical industry from Osijek, Croatia.
• "Koestlin" - cookies and wafer factory from Bjelovar, Croatia.
• "Kandit" - chocolate and bonbons factory from Osijek, Croatia.
• "Gavrilović" - meat industry from Petrinja, Croatia.
• "Đakovština" - flour factory from Đakovo, Croatia.
• "Paloma" - factory of hygienic and toilet products, Sladki Vrh, Slovenia.
• "Lindo" - wet wipes ( baby wipes ) from Italy.
• "Mikado" - canned fruits and champignons from Germany.
• "Marina" - dječji šampanjci, Mađarska


HISTORY

1989. -	“Mepas” company established. The headquarters of company is in Široki Brijeg.
1993. -	“Mepas” became leading wholesale in market of Bosnia and Herzegowina. In this moment company had more than 1000 customers. The company s activities are in expansion.
1995. -	Because we increased our activities it was necessary to open one s own warehouse . “Mepas” company open new warehouse with more of 5000 places for pallets.
1996. -	“Mepas” signed contract for exclusive representation for Bosnia and Herzegowina with chemical and pharmaceutical industry “Saponia” from Croatia.
1998. -	“Mepas” became owner of company “Saponia” from Croatia.
1999. -	“Mepas” stretched warehouse for next 2000 places for pallets, bought 30 new vehicles for deliveries, opened new retailing with 1700m² and assortment of 15000 articles, petrol station and cafe bar.
2000. -	“Mepas” signed contract for exclusive representation for Bosnia and Herzegowina with chocolate and bonbons factory “Kandit” from Croatia. We have estabilished the company “Saponia commerce”. The purpose of this company is to distribute of our products all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. In framework of this company opened separated warehouses in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Bihać and Banjaluka. “Mepas” became owner of the company “Metalac” from Široki Brijeg. The principal business of this company is production and building metal construction.
2001. -	“Mepas” signed contract for exclusive representation for Bosnia and Herzegowina with cookies and wafer factory “Koestlin” from Croatia.
2002. -	“Mepas” became owner of company “Koestlin” from Croatia.
2003. -	“Mepas” signed contract for exclusive representation for Bosnia and Herzegowina with factory of hygienic and toilet products “Paloma” from Slovenia.
2004. -	“Mepas” signed contract for exclusive representation for Bosnia and Herzegowina with meat industry “Gavrilović” from Croatia.
